Question: Was romeo aware of friar lawrence's plan!?
of juliet's temporary sleep!?
or did he really believe that juliet was dead from
balthasar!? (act 5)
because the dramatic irony at the end made it seem like he wasn't aware, but then he also could have thought that the potion didn't workWww@QuestionHome@Com

You missed the part where the message didn't get to Romeo -- he was supposed to be informed, but Friar John couldn't get anyone to carry the letter to him, so Romeo never found out!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, Romeo had no idea about the plan!. He was on the run after killing Juliet's cousin and hadn't heard about the plan!. The plan was to fake her death so she wouldn't have to marry!.!.!.(I think it was Paris!?) or whoever she was supposed to marry!. Friar Lawrence sent a message with Balthasar to Romeo to tell him of the plan but Balthasar didn't reach him in time!.

Hope that helps!Www@QuestionHome@Com
