Question: What can I do to help me with my school musical audition!?
Okay, so my school is doing the play "S'cool" and my audition is today!.
There's like 100 kids trying out for it!. You have to sing something (part of a song, most likely a verse and a chorus) and say a monologue!.
I'm singing "I Can Hear The Bells" from Hairspray and doing a monologue called "Grandma's House"!. Does anyone have any good tips to make me stand out!? :]

Okay this will be a breeze if you do these things!.

1!. Obviously practice the song!. Make sure to find the notes in the song and a pitch where you are comfortable because if you do not you might take the risk of cracking your voice!.
2!. In a school musical they are not just looking for you singing and acting well!. They also are looking for motivation!. They want to see that, if you are not the best at the song, that you will work hard and strive to be better!.
3!. Wear a comfortable outfit and nothing distracting!. Jeans, T-shirts, and tennis shoes cannot fail!.
4!. This is VERY important!. When you are on stage!. PLEASE smile!!!!! NOTHING ruins and audition like looking you are bored out of your mind!.
please if you want to look good, smile on stage! Look like you are excited, and happy to be at those auditions:)

Good luck with the auditions:)
