There are many actors aged 17-20 who are just starting in the industry who are continuosly looking for monologues more suitable to their age group!. Typically, I find that these people opt for roles which are simply too old for them (25 - 40); as, typically, those are where most of the classics from Chekhov, Miller, O'Neill, Mamet, Kushner etc!. are!. The problem is that these actors don't know where to find anything in their age group!. I am among them and am pleading for a resource online, or any good books or pieces you know which could help me compile a good repertoire!.
On a second note, it is also difficult for actors of different nationalities and races to find good pieces!. In this respect, I also ask if any of you know any good sources online or otherwise for such texts!.
