He is the person who sets the downfall of Oedipus in motion not once, but TWICE (telling his parents that he would kill his mother and murder his father, and then telling him that he DID those things)

Ironic: He is a "seer" but cannot see!. Later Oedipus is also blind!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
