I really really REALLY want to become an actress but my mom thinks that the only way i can is to sleep with directors(she gets mad about it to) but I dont want to do that and I need a little advice how I can achieve my goal!.

Of course you don't have to sleep with anyone you don't want to sleep with, but it is true that many times, directors and producers do put their girlfriends/wives in the movies even though there are better actresses who deserve the part!. That's just how the industry is!. But there are plenty of actresses who haven't slept with anyone to get a role!. They're just good actresses!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Um it's a myth that u have to sleep with a director to be famous!.Try joining theatre clubs that u might have in school!.It will give u some idea of what it usually takes or what is involve in acting!.also there are many that have and give acting courses so u may have the basic on acting!.Here 1 good site for your reference!.But u have to remember!.All actor/actress work quite hard before they get any recognition!.As long u keep the passion u have for what inspire u on y u want to become an actress in the 1st place and hold to that dream tightly you'll make itWww@QuestionHome@Com If you are not in a school or amateur dramatic society, you lost out already!. Start reading, and acting until you can wake up in the middle of the night and be like 'Madame le Pompadours', otherwise you have a long and uphill battle!. To be an actress, work hard, study hard, audition where and when you can!. Choose a good training program (college), and just focus on your education!. The work will come if you put forth the effort!. Just know it's a TOUGH choice!. It is HARD to be a working actor or actress!. There are many more wanna be's than roles!.
