Question: What should i do to be an actress!?

i want to be an actress from disney channel im 13!. i live in NY !. How do i get started!.!.where should i go!.!.who should i call!.!.how do i get an agent!. what should i do!.!.does any1 has an agents number!.!.HELP!!! please!.!.!.i love u all for answering!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You need to get involved with theater, and get in to your cities drama sections!. You need to build up a resume and experience!. You need to take lessons (Acting, Singing, and Dance), then you need your parents to search online for the best agency!. I would try and get in to a School o the Arts for drama!. Then you need to start going to open auditions for movies (non-disney related), then move to california, go to open auditions, and be extras!. Plus you need to get thick skin, because the world of Hollywood is going to be very harsh on you, and you have to be more driven then coming on to Yahoo Answers and depending on information that is going to discourage you!.

Start searching online!. Do your own research online!. People on here will probably just tell you that you not good, and what not!.

Plus, you need your parents to get involved!.

there is nothing you can do because you are under 18 your parents have to do it for you!. You will never be on disney if you live in NY unless they happen to be filming near you and you can get on as an extra!. No agent wants you!. They only want actors!. So go be an actor in all the school and community plays you can, start acting that is how to be an actor!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
