Question: Could I play Oliver from the musical Oliver!!?

My community theatre is doing the musical Oliver next season and I want to know if I would even have a shot at playing Oliver!. I will be 14 when they do the show!. I know thats a little old but I can sing the song "Where is Love" which is pretty high!.!.My voice has already changed so don't say I wont be able to sing it in a year!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yeah Oliver! is a brilliant musical its my favourite!.
If you're confident with your voice then thats fine!.Where is Love being the highest one (C#-top) then thats brilliant!.The only problem the director might have is if you grow too tall but then you could always try for Dodger!.
Everyone has a chance get as much drama and singing experience you can get!.
Oliver is kind shy and he is normally portrayed at different ages-9 in the book 10 in the movie 12 in the BBC series and 13 in Cameron Mackintosh's West End!.
Its the community theatre if you can act sing and have the right 'look' for Oliver they won't care if your a teeny bit old for the part!.
