I just met up with an agent and they told me that they cant do much if i don't have a car thats there to drive me around places for audition or filming location :\ my mom doesnt have a car and she doesn't want to have one anyways!. So I thought when im 16 and when i get my license thats when i should start getting an agent!. Do you think its a good idea!? or not !. And in the meantime what do I do with my acting!? Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Keep up with doing plays if you can!. Probably if it is a community one or a school play you can catch a ride from someone who lives fairly near you!. Many times there are people going to the same place you want to who don't live that far off!. You can also offer to pay for some of the gas!. Otherwise, yes, start it up again when you're 16, & start saving all your money now!. You are going to need it!. You should practice as much as possible while you are waiting though!. You don't want to turn 16 & feel unprepared!. You can do this by looking up "acting tips" on the web, or even You Tube might have some cool videos showing acting techniques!. Act for you mom, for you Grandma, for anyone, perform "one-man-plays" often!. This will prepare them to be more ready to accept what you want to do in the future!. Don't give up! Focus on school becuase if you put all your haopes into acting and it doesn't work out, you're screwed!. plus you're young, you have the rest of your life, you don't need to start at 14, let yourself just have a childhood and have fun with friends because acting is a lot of time and stress!. And they are right, you cannot do anything if you have no transportation!. You cannot afford to do it alone when you are 16 because of insurance, etc!. Concentrate on school!. There is hardly any call for teen actors anyway!.
