Position:Home>Theater & Acting> Would YOU recommend me to a director? Any tips?

Question: Would YOU recommend me to a director!? Any tips!?
Please, nothing negative!. I like acting for the characters, not the attention!.

I'm just about sixteen, and 5'6"!. German descent, dark blonde, dark green eyes!.
I've been in about five plays, one of which with an award-winning director!.

I enjoy eccentric, oddball characters!. Average Joes bore me, because I really love being actively creative and out-of-the-box!.
I prefer an interesting, ugly character to a pretty, air-headed one!.

My photobucket account for some references:

Would you recommend me!?

Any tips for getting out there!? (I'm in Virginia!.)

So why doesn't the award winning director recommend you!? No one here will recommend you, because we don't know you or your ability!. Not to be negative, but to offer you a suggestion!. Average joes, the romantic leads, etc!., are the most difficult roles to do well!. Your preferences show a weakness of some kind!. An effective actor can play all kinds of roles!. Besides, beginners do not get their choice of roles, they take whatever they can get!. Five plays is not enough experience to tell if you have talent!. Be in 25 plays and let us know what roles you played and we will talk!. I could not access your photobucket site!. You sound as though you are under 18; if that is the case, your parents will have to get you out there because you cannot do anything professional without their signature!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, if it were up to me I would recommend you!. But to get in to the acting onstage stuff you need a lot of experience!.BRAVO for you for doing five shows already!
Here are some tips:
1!. Audition for anything!.
2!. Prepare yourself for rejection!.
3!. Always learn a song to sing without music!.
4!. on the day of your audition, relax, think posistive
5!. They may or may not give you a script with few lines on it
6!. If they do learn the line you think you can say with the most feeling(they will be impressed if you memorize the line!!)
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

No I don't think I would recommend you!. You do not want any criticism!.
You know exactly what you are looking for!. The director is the one who makes the decisions!. The director wants to find it in you!.
My tip is to take every local chance offered!. Audition for everything!. Paint sets!. Work back stage, learn it all!. It will give you future connections!.
If you are trying to get into Movies, on Stage etc!. Even if you have an agent, or have questions about agents!.
Go to

Read it all!. If you are too young to sign a contract have your parents read it too!.
Best of luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
