Question: Do mezzanine seats have a good view!?
My boyfriend got me Wicked tickets today! They're for center mezzanine seats row C!. I've never been to a broadway show before, so are those seats good!? Or are far orchestra seats better!? Can you see everything!? Just wondering, either way!.!.I'm SOOOO excited! (:Www@QuestionHome@Com

Every auditorium is different!. Most of the time I have been able to see very well from orchestra seats!. I have also taken binoculars to see performances from balcony seats!.

But I have been to dance performances where I sat on the first row and could not see the feet of the dancers!. Later I discovered that the best seat in that particular theater was at least 6 rows from the front!.

I have sat in a mezzanine where the steel bars that served as a guide rail blocked the view!. I have also sat in far orchestra seats in an auditorium that did not stagger the seats, so that they were placed one directly behind another!. I could go on!.

You have to go to the theater and look around!. It helps, therefore, if you go to the same place over and over, so you get to know it!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I personally think that those seats would be better than far orchestra b/c you wont have as many heads in the way and you will get a full view of the set since you are in the center mezzanine!. Anyways, all of the seats will be good and Wicked is fantastic!!! Enjoy the show! (i am jealous!) Www@QuestionHome@Com

Orchestra seating is always better, but usually more costly and many times (especially for "Wicked") not available!.
Row C in the Pantages is not that bad!. Would rather be there than in the last 3 or 4 rows of orchestra!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
