You're noticeably attractive!. The problem with the shot is--aside from the kitchen cabinet and it isn't a head shot, as others have said--the wide angle lens and the angle of the shot makes your body disproportioned from your head!. That's all you see just about!. It's distracting!.

Try this experiment: When you're at the shot, make sure that your vertical bar is all the way at the top!. Then, right click on the shot, and click to zoom in!. There! Perfect head shot!

When you are just viewing your head, you are stunning!. All sorts of computer programs can help you crop, zoom and so on--as you must know--or, you know someone who knows how to do this!. If possible, electronically excise the kitchen cabinet!. Good luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You look pretty in this picture, but it's not headshot material!. Headshot means headshot so don't have body with!. also it looks like you're taking the picture yourself!. The best would be if you went to a proffesional studio!. It doesn't have to be a company /studio!. I go to a woman who is at home with a child, but she is an educated photographer but nowadays only has it as a hobby!. She's very nice and good!. I pay half as much as a studio charges, also she uses as much time as I need/want while a studio has a time limit, and afterwards I help pick out the pictures!. Try to find some thing local like this if you don't have a lot of money saved up!. Or you can have your mother or a friend tak a picture of you with a white wall in the background!. Look casual, not too much make up, you want to look like the real you not a glammed up you!. Smile=)Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's not bad, but here are a few pointers in addition to those above me:

1!. If you're taking the picture yourself, use the self-timer function so you don't have to hold the camera!. Having your arm in full view like that is unprofessional and myspace-y!.

2!. Practice taking a few shots of your shoulders and up, so you know where to position the camera so the top of your head doesn't get cut off!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you absolutely had to use this shot, I would crop it at the shoulders!. If you're going to re-take it, include the top of your head, and smile!.

But frankly, if you're submitting for a film, they want to see professional headshots!. If nothing else, it says to the casting directors that you're serious about being an actor!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
