How can I get started in acting?

Question: How can I get started in acting!?

I love to act and my dream is to be on stage at a theater or on TV, but how can I get started!? I am a little old (13) to just begin acting!. I've loved to act ever since I could speak, but I haven't wanted to audition for theater plays until now!. Should I go for acting/singing lessons!? Where should I start!? What would be a good place for me to audition first!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hi Ellie!.
Find your nearest theatre workshop and check out how much experience the teacher has, also signing your self up for theatre in the future for highschool could get you a little jump!.
Here is a few books I would recommend to start out with!.

13 is a GREAT age to start acting, most famous actors started out at ages like these!. Theatre is exciting and im sure your gonna like it!. Ohh and check out improv while your in there, thats pretty fun and good for acting on your toes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

no offense, its not something you can just start!. i'm the same age, but i've been acting and singing for years!. singing and acting is a passion, and you can't just pick up on it!. you can do classes, but don't base you're future and career around it, because i wouldn't even do that!. good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

1 train your head off - film acting class vocal pop lessons hip hop dance !.
2!. gain a lot of weird talent ( pogo stick maybe a couple karate classes)

3!. get the look( perfect hair innocent great smile cute look)
4!. after about 5yrs of training find a non scam agent!.(Yellow book)
6 get a head shot and good luck
