RENT the summer musical at my theatre?

Question: RENT the summer musical at my theatre!?

I'm thinking about which summer production I want to go for!. The one for my age group at my theatre of choice is RENT, so what's it about and is there a character with a fair amount of lines or a lead that doesn't need to have a strong singing voice!? All the leads in Rent need a strong singing voice!. It is about 6 or 7 guy and girls in their late twenties living in New York and dealing with AIDS!. Even if they are casting younger kids, all the leads have several solo's!.
In the movie, the character Mimi didn't have a real strong singing voice and she pulled it off!. If you really want a lead, go for Mimi!. You'll have to sing but rent the movie and see hoe she did it!. That will give you some ideas!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
