Last week my school announced that it was going to be producing a play version of Wuthering Heights!. I really love acting so I decided to try out for Catherine Earnshaw (as my top pick) and Isabella!. I convinced my friend to try out too because she needed something to do before softball season starts!. We both were called back for cast parts, but so was this girl who has a horrible attitude and was making a fuss about how it was her right to be Catherine in the play!.
On Friday the cast list was up!. I got the role as Isabella (yay) and apparently the drama teacher thought my best friend was really good, and she was to play Catherine!. The problem now is that my friend doesn't want to be Catherine, since she thinks that I really wanted that role!. I'm fine with Isabella and I told her that, but she told the teacher she didn't want to be Catherine and the role will go to the snooty girl!.
I talked with the teacher and she told me to try and convince my friend to act in the play before next week ends!. Any ideas!?
