Question: Does anyone know any famous trustworthy agencies for acting!?!?!?!?!?!?

the only experience that i have with acting is this play that i did with my friends recently!. i love acting and i would really like to act in a tv show!. i know that i have barely any experience but i'm willing to work hard!. my parents don't really like the idea of me acting so there isn't really a chance of me going to acting school or anything!. people keep telling me to send headshots to an agency, are there any trustworthy agencies out there!?

Yes, there are many!. You don't say where you live, so people can't give specific recommentions!.

Basically, stay away from any chain places like John Robert Powers, John Casablacas and Barbizon!. These aren't real agencies!.

The best way to be able to tell whether an agency is legit or not is to do your homework and educate yourself as to how agencies work and what their role is when it comes to representing actors!.

I can tell you though, that every legit angecy will tell you that you will need training and experience!. Having a strong work ethic is great, but you need talent as well!. Get involved in school productions and look around at community theatres too and see if there are any upcoming auditions!. Find some local schools and see how much the classes are and tell your parents about them!.
Are they really unwilling to let you take classes or do you just not want to because you want to jump stright into getting an agent and becoming a star!? Because that won't happen!. Get training!. Get experience!. Most of all, get your parents support!.
