Are you talking about songs to add to your repertoire, or songs for a specific audition!? If it's songs for your rep, have a look at:
- Sit Down, You're Rockin' The Boat from Guys and Dolls - this can easily be rearranged to eliminate the chorus parts
- Being Alive from Company
- Marry Me A Little from Company (get the Putting it Together DVD and look at John Barrowman's version, which is just stunning)
- If I Can't Love Her from Beauty and the Beast
- Sunset Boulevard from the show of the same name (you need lungs of leather to pull this one off!)
- Anyone Can Whistle from the show of the same name
- Heaven On Their Minds from Jesus Christ Superstar (but don't try it unless you're SURE you can nail it!)
- Anne On My Arm from La Cage Aux Folles
- Pity The Child from Chess (be warned, this is spectacularly high though - YouTube Adam Pascal singing it 'cause he nails it)
- There Is A Sucker Born Every Minute from Barnum (Raul Esparza does a great version, as does Michael Crawford, look on YouTube)Www@QuestionHome@Com
