The Theatre eventually became The Globe in 1599 when its lease expired!. The Rose and The Swan would be two other really good ones for the public theatre (there is a drawing known as the DeWitt Swan drawing that is a good contemporary visual source)!. Another variation on Elizabethan theatre would be the indoor theatre The Blackfriars, which was owned by Shakespeare's company!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

You may be talking about "The Theatre" built in 1576!.
