Question: Im auditioning for nickelodeon any advice!?

ok im auditioning for nickelodeon and its like a never know unless you try thing!. i've never had ANY acting experience ever unless elementary and below plays count!. i have to find a joke or monologue thats funny to do!. should i go for it!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Go for it! Diving into auditions is a great way to start getting experiences that you'll learn and benefit from in the long run!. My best advice to give you is have fun, smile, and act like you really want to be there!. Directors want to work with people who have great personalities and who are very likable!.

Why not!? Every performer I've met enjoys having new talent in the field, and if it's something you think you might enjoy, I say go for it!. If you're looking for a monologue to do, that's a whole other question, that's a lot more complicated!. For that, anyone giving suggestions would need to know your approximate age and any other specs you think might be useful for gearing an audition piece!. That being said, I personally always like 'House of Blue Leaves' (a play) for monologues!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
