There are a number of different directions you can come at this from:

1) Many stage and film actors segue into voice-overs because their agents can find that work for them as well!.

2) One can sign up for a voice-over class where they offer lessons in how to present yourself and your voice properly!. From here, the teachers can often recommend you to an agent or VO company, assuming they have an in with them (these classes can be found in most big cities, although New York, LA, San Francisco, Chicago and Boston would have the most opportunities)!.

3) You can make your own demo tape (which is usually just an MP3 of some samples, nowadays) and send them in to agents in the hopes of them signing you on!.

4) You may come across some opportunities on craigslist, but they will be non-union usually, not pay very well, and probably won't lead to other regular work!.

Going directly to the companies would be ideal, but most of the big companies looking for voices in cartoons and movies will be working through bigger agencies in NYC and LA, so your best bet is to get in good with the agencies!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
