Question: ACTORS: Have you ever had the "Actor's Nightmare!?"!?
If so, what are the details of yours!? Have you had it often!? Is it always the same!? Do you have it more frequently when working, or when not working!?
I had two types of the famous bad dream: One in which I had no idea what was going on but I winged it! And it was hilarious! They loved me!. In the other (and more frequent!) I just had no idea what was going on!. (What is this show!? This isn't Shaw! Why am I dressed in this silly pink bunny costume!? What language are we speaking!? It was awful!!)

i had a dream that was so similar to Durang's "Actor's Nightmare" that i had amazing deja vu when i was in the show!. i found myself backstage at our theatre and everyone was looking for me!. they shoved me onstage in my street clothes (it was a period show) and i was forced to interact with the other actors!. every time i ran offstage the stage manager kept telling me what a good job i did and would shove me back onstage!. every time i went onstage the play was different!. i hadn't even heard of Durang when i had this dream!. crazy!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
I don't have it anymore, since I mostly do improvisational theater!.
However, I did have an odd version of it!. In the dream we were all on book in a staged reading!. But my script was written completely in gibberish!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
