Here's how I break down my resume:

1) Theatre credits (if you have experience specifically in regional, NYC or LA stage, feel free to break down the category even more)

2) Film/TV (which can be separated if you have enough credits to do so!.

3) Voice-over

4) Training (put any education, classes, degrees and workshops here)

5) Special Skills (put dialects, talents, helpful experiences, languages and anything else that might make you stand out in the crowd)!.

6) An optional section is also "Awards!." also, if you are just starting out and don't have a lot of credits, feel free to make a section for "Scene work" or "Classes" as well, until you fatten up your resume with professional credits!.

Somewhere on your resume should be your name, email address, phone number, union membership (if any) and basic measurements (height, weight, eyes, hair)!. DO NOT put your address or social security number on your resume!. It's completely unnecessary and a possible hazard!.

Keep in mind, too, that resumes should (usually) be stapled to the back of your headshot, which comes out to be different sizes!. When formatting your resume, keep in mind that you will be cutting the paper to fit the size of the headshot!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

PLEASE tell me how i can audition! i have a friend who is doing it but i won't see her for a while and she lives far away!. plus, i don't have her phone number or anything!. i looked it up on the internet and i couldn't find any info!

anyway, about the resume!. unless you have a lot of experience, it doesn't really matter the order!. just include your theater credits (school plays i guess), film credits (if you have any), and hobbies or special talents!. oh, and some places want you to describe your body (height, weight, hair color, eye color, etc)

please tell me on the 'additional details' about the audition!

thank you so much!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
