I'm bet that they don't like the series in general!. The High School Musical series, while trying to send positive messages like "be yourself", is just a montage of teenagers who can sing and dance, well, singing and dancing!. Plus, they're following the time-honored tradition of making it seem as if they're all singing in harmony right out of the blue!.

the music is complete poo!. it's seriously bad!. when you compae it to some of the shows on broadway at the moment, both the revivals and knew, you soon realise just how bad it is!. it brings"musical" to kids which would be good, exept when they want to see shows on stage the shows they want to see are high school musical, the s**t, something disney have produced just to make money, not to prodce good qualoty miusical theatre!. Kids shoul be ngoing to see wicked, In the heights or haispray, shows that have actually been produced well, with good music, good stageing and god acting!. Basicaly HSM is turning the youth of today off good quality musicl thatre!. and this annoys me (if you hadn't already noticed lol)

High School Musical (1, 2, and 3) are awful because they show kids that you should never be in shows because most of the kids are snobby brats, which is not true! I loved the first one so much, I thought I would be cool and act like Sharpay and Ryan during a school play!. I was absolutely nasty and catty!. It was awful!. That's why I don't like the movies anymore!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

People really are too hard on Disney things, I think!. I like classic musicals just as much as the next person, but I think the whole HSM franchise is absolutely adorable!.

Generally, though, it's a bit cheesy, fake, annoyingly in everyone's face, and just so very!.!.!. happy!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I really did try to watch the first one except i fell asleep for a little bit and about half way through i wanted to kill myself it was so terrible
also i didnt even try the 2nd
