Question: Antigone by Sophocles!?

okay so for my preAP english class, we read the play antigone by sophocles, (we read oedipus rex too) and i have to do a character analysis type thing, and i have to use three quotes in my paper!. my topic sentence has to answer the question: whats the most significant/important aspect of your character's personality and how does this character use it within the story!?

antigone- her name means "unbending" and it's just like her character!. She held so much pride and was stubborn (all for the sake of her brother) only to die!. She even knew her life would end and she gladly took it!. It wasn't just for her brother but her reputation too, was a stake!. She wanted to die knowing she buried her brother and when creon took her to the cave instead, she killed herself because she was unwilling (or too stubborn) to live!. This is how she planned it and she wanted it to follow through so as Creon unbent and learned, Antigone did not!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
