How many drama conservatories(4 year BFA) should I audition for?

Question: How many drama conservatories(4 year BFA) should I audition for!?

I am considering cutting out a couple of schools from the 6-7 I have now and am wondering how many would be a good number to audition for!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, that really depends on what schools you like!. I auditioned for two BFA programs - almost a third, but it ended up being too far for me to go!. Just look for the schools that appeal to you, and that have a good reputation, and even look at the alumni that came out from the acting program!. For instance, I auditioned for York; they had a good reputation, and Rachel McAdams graduated from that program!. But depending on where you are, it may be different!. Just pick the schools that seem to have the best reputations, and also remember that the auditions can be pretty intense, so it also might not be a good idea to take on a whole lot at once, especially if auditions are close together!. I went to them, they were pretty crazy!. I don't know where you live, but it also depends on that, what with travelling time as well!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
