Question: Do I have to pay a fee to become a movie extra for Central Casting in NYC!?

I'm interested in becoming a movie extra for this company, however I noticed that they have an OPTIONAL fee on their website for $25 just to take your picture!. Is this legit!? I'm a little confused because I always thought the legit companies don't charge a fee!. Can I just bring a photo of myself in and give it to them for free!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you send them a snap shot they will use it!. There shouldnt be a fee but I have seen some casting calls and open calls where they charge 5 bucks to take your picture!. Cheesy I know but poloroid film isnt cheap!.
