Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
You could

- Deviate from the script and start quoting Shakespeare
- Make armpit farts
- Spit water into the audience
- Stop the show to go on a rant against the cast and the director
- Fake a seizure on stage
- Use scissors to cut off the lead actress' hair during the show
- Expose yourself
- Spray paint every car in the parking lot during intermission
- Enlist two scary looking fellow actors to "rob" the audience at gunpoint
- Use the smoke machine, then pull the fire alarm!. Lock and bar all exits beforehand

Make sure you say "Just kidding" after all of these or people might get upset!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Using props for schtick acting can be a great touch depending on the character/scene/show!. It's not good to use things like that all time as not all scenes call for schtick!. I disagree with the person who said that actors only do things like that to cover the fact that they're not very good actors to begin with!. That could be the case if that's the only thing you ever do; run around breaking props, but as long as it's appropriate in the scene and everyone's ok with it, I say it's great!.

Just when you're breaking props!.!.!.make sure you do it upstage of the drop so that the stage management team doesn't have to worry about that piece of whatever that they couldn't get cleaned up and is now onstage in a different scene :) --this from a stage management team member :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you're not doing a magic show or something which is intended to shock the audience your actions may be inappropriate!. There is a reason for safety measures such as sugar glass when breaking glass onstage!. Try focusing on why your character is there and why they open their mouth!. Why doesn't your character leave the room!? What does your character want!? Focus on being a regular person in imaginary circumstances!. This, along with decent content to present can result in an extraordinary performance which may be 'unexpected'!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Depends what play you are doing and what props you have!.

Last April I was in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat!. When it talks about the wheat and the stars, the boys were jumping around and stuff acting like dancing stars/bundels of wheat!. One of the guys fell down on the stage but it was ok because it looked like it was planed!. For the rest of the performances some of the guys fell on purprose!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Unless you're doing a show like Stomp or Blue Man Group resist the urge to interact with the audience!. Hone your craft as an actor and you will find the ability to move your audience without resorting to cheap over the top tricks!. Patrick Stewart for instance, can hold the audience in the palm of his hand by sheer force of presence such is his skill as an actor!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Nothing against you, but these things don't add "substance"!. This is a common trick used by people who aren't very good at acting to make their performance stand out!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

you could add a long pause in the production but then suddenly look at the audience and shout the next line - that would keep people alert!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
