I am really considering putting more weight because i look a bit like tay diggs!.!.!.Or maybe the casting director thinks i look like a regular black guy!?!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

There are no rules to show business, so you look like another actor guess what when you start to audition you going to find alot of similarities !.

Almost everyone looks regular!. The fact is few actors get a lot of work at all!. It's a brutal business!. Even Taye Diggs does not work a lot!. Looking like another actor does not help or hurt you, it just is and when you see enough actors in a casting they all look like types of each other anyway!.

Casting directors are not in charge of hiring you, they merely present what they feel are the best options to the producers/directors of the shows/films they are working on!. So much of hiring an actor it is out of your hands and has nothing to do with the actor themselves it's useless to try and second guess what is happening behind the scenes!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
