A woman named Blanche du Bois arrives in town to find her sister, Stella, is now married to a man named Stanley who is a "common" laborer and a bit rough around the edges!. Stella learns that her sister has lost the family residence, Belle Reeve, and been run out of town because of a questionable reputation!. Blanche is a woman who lives in the past, refusing to relinquish her dreams of being a favored Southern Belle, learns that Stella is pregnant and in trying to convince her sister to leave Stanley, clashes with Stanley who ultimately rapes her one night thereby leaving Blanche a shattered woman; Stella reluctantly has to commit her sister to an asylum!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
