Question: Did Elizabethan musicians!.!.!.!?
Did musicians in the Elizabethan Era ever wear masques when they performed!? I'm doing a poster on Elizabethan music and I was considering putting a masque on it but I didn't know if that would go too off topic!. If they did wear them, do you think it'd be a good/creative idea to put a decorated masque on my poster!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

For reasons of advertising and promotions, sure, throw a masque on there!. It is fascinating and fun and intriguing!. If the poster is for historical accuracy, as said above, only on those with stringed instruments (or only top-half of the face masques on those with wind instruments)!. But for just promotions, purposes, why not!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's difficult to play some instruments wearing a masque - for example, any of the wind instruments (and the wind instruments in those days were flutes and coronets) or some of the stringed instruments!. But some of them could have and for a poster, it could be a fun idea!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
