There are several --- it depends on how small "small" is!. A couple that come to mind include "Clue: The Musical" based on the popular board game and "The Butler Did It, Singing", a spoof of classic mystery novels!.

You can find musicals with small casts at the websites for the following musical publishers (some of these sites have search engines that ask for the cast size you want): Dramatic Publishing, Baker's Plays, Samuel French Inc!., Dramatists Play Services, Pioneer

Putting It Together has 5
Company has 14 - how small are we talking!?!
The Last Five Years has 2
Ain't Misbehaving has 4 or 5 (can't remember!.!.!.)
Cabaret can be done with as few as 11
I've seen Sweeney Todd done with 9

Try looking at shows that played off-Broadway!. They often have far fewer characters than the big Broadway musicals!.

Little Mary Sunshine was a musical I did a long time ago!.I think there were only 6 in the cast!.Then there was Half A Sixpence,an english musical by Lionel Bart!.It had a small cast!.But most musicals are done with big casts!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The perennial favorite "Fantastics" has a cast of about 6-7 (boy, girl, 2 fathers, old actor, indian, narrator)!. There are a couple that have 3 or 4!. That list of sources is very goodWww@QuestionHome@Com
