Question: Im takin acting classes and i have always shaved my head,!?

but recently ive been hearding from people that the film industry and or tv and what not like actors with longer hair or they prefer with longer hair, i just wanted somone elses opinion on that take cauuse i havent had long hair in about 6 yearsWww@QuestionHome@Com

Stay true to yourself!. If you start making changes to suit the industry what you change maybe the one thing they want to cast you for!.

I cant tell you how many times I lost a part to a guy with a shaved head and no hair!.

Unless you want to have a head shot with hair and then shave your head again!. Just to show the difference on a comp card

I would suggest growing your hair a bit because many more period plays etc!. do not ask for a bald man!. When your an actor, it is good to stay as bland looking as you can so there is more chance that you won't get thrown out of the pile for looking too modern!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I can only assume that having longer hair would make you a more versatile actor!. Whereas having short hair limits you to the roles where a short-haired actor is optimal!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
