Question: Does anyone have any advice on musicals!?
I'm trying out for a musical at my school!. I'm not really that nervous at all but there's that little piece of doubt in the back of my mind just pounding its way through my thoughts!. I think I'm a decent enough singer to make it!. I'm not amazing or anything, but I'm good!. I'm just wondering if there's anyone out there who could give me some advice to help me prepare for this!.

Thanks!

Practice, practice, practice!

There's nothing worse than stepping into an audition without fully knowing what you are about to do!. There's no such thing as 'winging it' when it comes to auditions!.

Make sure you get to the audition with enough time to relax before hand!. Find a corner to call your own and take a few moments to go over everything you are about to do!. Then do some warm up exercises!. You don't want to stand in front of the judges, open your mouth and realize you have a frog in your throat!.

Take a few deep breathes and then go do what you've done a heap of times before!.

Best of luck!

As much as you wont love it, try not to act nervous!. Judges love people who are confident, just be yourself and try your best!.

If you dont get a part dont sweat it, there will always be other auditions!.
