Milady de Winter, as her name implies, is a cold, calculating femme fatale, beautiful, deceitful and deadly!.
She was married to Athos (one of the musketeers) long ago, and cheated on him, after which she was literally branded by him and abandoned to her fate!. She became a confident and probably a mistress to De Rochefort, and aided him in his schemes not only against the musketeers, but the Queen---she kills Constance, D'Artagnon's girlfriend, gets imprisoned and seduces her jailer into assassinating the Queen's English lover, and is eventually caught and executed on the order of the musketeers!.
