Position:Home>Theater & Acting> I need to become famous?Question: I need to become famous!? seriously like theres people that were born to be the "norm" to be just regular americans!. and theres people that were born to be famous!. i was born to be famous!. and im still not!. i can kinda sing, i can kinda act blah blah but AHH i just need to be famous what do i do ! ahah Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you are born to be famous, then instead of seeing you as a "kind of" person!.!.!.!. why wouldn't you say "I can sing, I can dance!" - You are doubting yourself already!. Take classes, have training!. If you like to sing, then make that your focus!. If you like to act, then place it as your top priority!. If you want to Musical Theatre, then do both!! There's no really over-night success!. You have to take baby steps in reaching your goal!. You can easily be famous by comitting a crime!. Yes, your picture will be all over the news paper!. Is that the type of Fame you want!? You can be on a reality show and make a total fool out of yourself, Yes, people will see you on TV and remember you!. But do you want to be remembered as "another reality show person!?" Learn, and get Involved!. If you have passion, then let it guide you to success!. I would strongly recommand you to take acting classes either at your school (Theater classes, or Drama Club)!. Get involved!. If your school doesn't offer that, see if there are local Theatre Groups/Workshops that you can attend!. (You can either find them in newspapers or online)!. If you want to be an actor/actress, you have to aquire the craft of acting first!. It is at your classes or workshops, that you will learn more about the business in acting!. Develope your own network, or even, from your classmates, you'd get a referral to see their talent agents!. - But do as much work as you can - audition for location theatre productions, student films, indie films!.!.!. you name it!. This will help you develope a good actor resume Once you have been doing a lot of local theatre performances - you will been seen, and discovered!. Some Talent Agents *DO* attend the shows!Www@QuestionHome@Com Two suggestions: 1!. Take Lessons!. Find a theatre company or singing/acting lessons place and work on your singing/drama!. As well as maybe increasing your talent, it would provide some experience to put on a resume!. 2!. Get an Agent!. Search on Google, Yahoo or any other search engine for a casting agency near you!. You can also try the phonebook!.!. search under talent agencies, casting agencies!.!.etc!. (You can also search here for singing/acting lessons)!. That is all I know really!.!.!. besides keeping a look out for competitions like the recent one in Dolly Magazine to star in 'Neighbours' (unfortunately it finished :( but there could be others)!.
