Question: Any advice for being a voice actor in Japan!?
I live in Japan and speak some Japanese so I decided to give it a shot!.
There is a type of elective course for it at an art school I'm going to here!. I am studying art but I'm thinking about taking voice acting as a kind of elective class!.

Anyone have any advice about voice acting in general, in japan or even about voice acting in a second or third language!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

There is plenty of voice over work for English-speaking people in Japan, especially for anime and games!.

And my advice for that would be to take an acting class first!. I have heard the most godawful acting from people who were obviously hired only for their ability to speak the language, not to act!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

That's awesome! You should do anime in Japanese and when it is translated to English you could dub your own voice! :-) Good luckWww@QuestionHome@Com
