Question: How to become a actor at 15!?

I am 15 and want to be an actor but i don't know where to get started as i live in a small town!. Could any one give me some tips!?

First of all, when you're young studio's want to see ambition!. That you're serious about it and not just fooling around!. So make sure you have a resume!.

(A resume consists of plays you've been in, classes you've taken, awards you've won!.!.!.)

Audition for plays, take classes-but not just acting classes! An actor who can only act is practically useless!. Make sure you can dance, stage fight, play an instrument, do some kind of accent, anything that makes you different from anybody else!.

Then, go to school for acting!. It's not needed, but I think that it helps!. After that you can either search for auditions on your own or get an agent!. You should NOT pay for your agent, agents should only get 10-20% of what you make in a gig!. Meaning, if you don't get a gig you're agent shouldn't get paid!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
