At your age, I would start building up your resume!.

-Do every single community theatre show that you can!.
-Take voice lessons, acting lessons, and try your best in everything!. -When you get parts, do character work!. Understanding your character can make you 1000% better in terms of acting!.
-Go see shows!. Even the ones that turned you down for a part! See what the actors are doing, and gather some pointers, just from watching!. People will notice you have improved!.
-When in high school, you can try acting in dinner theatres out of town, or even at an amusement park!. Disney and Cedar Point come to mind as parks that are known worldwide for their shows!.

I wish you luck in your career!. Just remember that even if you never become 'famous' acting, don't let anyone tell you it isn't realistic to make a decent living acting!. Its very possible and I hope to see you on stage someday!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Why not put on your own show!? WIth the internet, myspace, etc!., try to contact friends at school and around town that might be interested!. See if you can find one talented adult that you trust such as the high school drama teacher or anyone involved in community theatre!. Like with theatre at any level, it is primarily about real estate!. If you have a space, then you can work!. Try to rent out any local theatre or at your high school or junior high!. Then you and your friends and local theatre buffs can put on a show!. Make sure to get the rights to it through Dramatists or Sam French!. I am an actor in LA and can tell you that this is a very frustrating career on all levels!. The most important thing you can be is young, which you are!. As soon as you turn 18, get your butt to LA or NYC!. Try to get into UCLA, USC, NYU, Columbia, Barnard!.!.!. that way you are young and in the city but still have the safety of school to help you out!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Get your parents involved as I am sure you don't drive yet!. The only way to get it rocking and rolling is drive!. Look for auditions Thur you local state film commission www!.yourstate!.org, www!.braingbox!.com, www!.auditionfinder!.com

Get good head shots and have them reproduced by ABC reproductions!.com and print you resume on the back!. Self submit to everything!.!.mean while keep you grades up and trade good grades for auditions!. As a parent I be more willing to help my child if I knew he was staying out of trouble and getting good grades
