Question: Acting out a skit for class!?

we are working on a skit!.
3 people and one narrivaton

the skit should be about 5-10 minutes!.
also needs and location and NEEDS to end on a cliffhanger, also there must be a person the audience feels sorry for!.

i guess i would like for you to give me your ideas like a sample scritp

I don't know what age 8th grade is because i live in england and we have a different school system but more to the point, I am doing performing arts at college and if you are doing a short performance i suggest to only have one scene so don't change the set or scene also this will keep the atmosphere if it is a dark performance!. thats all i can think of at the minute but if i think of anything else i will tell you!. also if it needs to be dark you should strip the characters of realism except the person everyone feels sorry for this way the character will stand out!.
