Question: How to get into acting, advice please !? read on !.!.!.!?

I want to get into acting in TV shows etc!. but i have never had any acting experience in the past!. Does anyone have any advice as how i can start out !? can't really get an agent!.
also, any advice on how i can tell my parents - they're open to all idea i guess, but somehow they'll think this will be a waste of time because i've hated acting in the past!.
Just want some advice about it all, please!. i know tats a bit vague, sorry!.

Practice, Practice, Practice!!

Get involve in school plays, and search for auditions in the ross reports in your area!.

If you really wanna get an agent, get in to talents like piano, dancing or guitar, they make you stand out from the hundreds of actors resumes they get a week!.

All I can say is PRACTICE!

Your parents will want you to follow your dreams if you show them how much you want it!. when you do your school play and they come to watch and see you truly love it; they'll join in to whatever!. Ask them "did anyone every stop you from becoming a lawyer!?" (In example)Www@QuestionHome@Com
