What is appropriate attire for a matinee performance at a nice theatre?

Question: What is appropriate attire for a matinee performance at a nice theatre!?

I'm going to see Spring Awakening at the Curran Theatre this Sunday, and I just want to make sure I don't overdress or underdress!. It's matinee, and I think that should make a difference!.!.!. So, should I wear a nice dress or maybe just a skirt and a nice blouse!.!.!.!.!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

The thing about the theatre is you see people dressed ALL kinds of ways! You could even get away with wearing nice jeans and a cute top!.
I wouldn't worry about it too much!.

You can wear whatever you feel is nice!. Just please, no jeans!. It's disrespectful to the actors, actresses, crew and everyone!. A skirt and a nice blouse would be perfect! If you feel more comfortable in the dress, then wear that!.
