How do i get started as an actor in L.A?

Question: How do i get started as an actor in L!.A!?

im a good looking teenager (male) and i love to act, i live in San Francisco, and i've performed in like three plays, all which i have gotten the lead part in (sry not trying to brag) now im interested in gong to L!.A to try to get a part in a T!.V show, Movie ect!. who should i go to/ contact to get auditions and what not!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Start by taking a workshop in a skill set (commercials, improv, voiceover)!. Learn what to expect in an audition and how to conduct yourself so you don't waste time at casting calls!. If you keep making the same mistakes, you will never book!. Attend auditions!. Submit to agencies!. Continue your training!. And most importantly, don't quit your day job!. I'm not saying that to be a jerk!. Acting gigs are few and far between!. You need to pay the bills in the meantime!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best thing to do is to get a good acting coach and get into a couple of workshops!. Acting coaches are sometimes casting directors and will cast directly from their class!.

You'll learn, network and find out where to spend your money and how not to get caught up in all the hoopla!.

There is a huge difference in theater acting and tv acting!. Acting workshops and coachs will tell you how!. You love to hear them say "less" " now do less"

Get some good headshots and start self submitting to Cds and agents!. Keep training and sooner or later you'll book projects!. Work in show business is a progression built upon a good foundation!.
