Depends where you live!.
If you live in NYC then def subscribe to backstage!. If you don't then its pretty much a waste of money!.
If you're in LA, then backstage west is the way to go!.
Am not familiar with actingland!.com

Best place to start usually, though, is your local newspaper!. Most open casting calls are pretty well publisized so i'd check out the Arts and Entertainment section!. Go on auditions, go see plays, meet people! Then once you get to talk to other actors, see how they find out about their auditions- local websites, mailings, etc!.

don't join any they are all scams to get your money, even if they have free sign up, they will come asking for money!.Unless you are ready to audition for professional work in NYC, then Backstage and Playbill are good!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
