Okay I am doing Shakespeare club well auditioning for it and I chose monologue A because its Juliet!. It says " O Romeo, Romeo! wherefore are thou Romeo!? Deny thy father, and refuse thy name; 'Tis but thy name that is my enemy; Thou art thyself, though not a Montague!. What's in a name!. That which we call a rose!. By any other name would smell as sweet!. Romeo, doff thy name, And for that name which no part is thee, Take all myself!." So she is talking to her self but whats in her tone!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

If by tone, you mean how she is saying it, I would say her voice is filled with a bit of sadness, maybe desperation!. Definitely longing, she's wants to be with Romeo and their families are getting in the way!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
