What voice part do I check yes for auditions?

Question: What voice part do I check yes for auditions!?

In chorus at school, I sing some songs in soprano and some in tenor!. I only do one in alto because thats where my bridge is!. I'm never sure which box to check on the papers I have to fill out for an audition!. Help!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

If Mezzo Soprano is an option you could check that!. Otherwise stick with soprano if you feel comfortable hitting the higher notes!. As tenor is usually a male voice do not check that!. At auditions that would be confusing!. Chorus and musicals are very different in that regard!. Unless they are extremely short on men, they will stick to traditional vocal casting!. you should choose the one you feel most comfortable doing or what you think you are best at because that way you'll be doing what you like instead of checking a random box!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

since tenor is a man part, i would say alto!. i have no clue why you sing tenor though!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
