Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I have seen this question so many times and never answered because I really didn't know!. So I went through the bio's of cast members in about 100 playbills I have from musicals I attended!. Still could not come up with any one college that produced more actors than others!. My conclusion is: If you have the talent to be an actor in theater, it really doesn't make a difference what college you attend!. Look for one that has a descent Visual and Performing Arts department!. Ask them to give you a list of alums appearing or has appeared on stage and what and where they appeared!. Then make your choice, not someones else's choice for you!. Www@QuestionHome@Com It depends what you're looking for!. A lot of it is what you get out of it, but here are a few that are very reputable: Hartt School Boston University NYU/Tisch Yale Catholic University (well, at least the MFA program) AMDA Carnegie Mellon Syracuse I've known actors from "good" schools, and actors from lesser known schools who were exceptionally talented!.
