Question: How can I get into an Acting School with no past experience of acting!?
Many Acting or Performing Art schools involve an Acting Portfolio in which you have to give your background in acting!.

I'm interested in a career in acting, but I have no background in acting!.
How may I apply with success!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hey Ali,

Many schools won't require you to have acting experience or a portfolio/reel/résumé of any kind!. If they want anything, it'll be an audition!.

If you already feel like you are a talented actor, then you should have no problem!. If not, then you should practice with other actors that you know so that you can get better!.

However, I feel compelled to note that if you're serious about becoming an actor, you shouldn't bother with going to acting school!. If you feel inadequate, then maybe you should take a few classes!. But as far as acting schools go, you'll just be wasting time, money, and you'll probably have your head filled with a lot of nonsense that will do you more harm than good!. (But that's a topic for another time!.)

also, agents and casting directors won't care at all about where you studied!. They just want to see that you can act!. And in the agent's case, that you've got star potential!.

Keep all this in mind before you go about enrolling in an acting school!. If you have any more questions and want advice about acting or becoming an actor, you can contact me at http://www!.celebsystem!.com and I'll email you personally!.

Good luck!

You need to start doing local plays and go from there!. Acting schools usually don't accept people without you having at least some sort of acting experience in the past!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you are in Brisbane I know that the Actors Conservatory takes people without experience!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
