Question: Could i do two shows at the same time!?
I auditioned for our schools mainstage, and got an ok part!.
ive been dying to do my local theatre's performance of a christmas carol, though!. (auditions are next week)

thing is, idk if id be able to do both pretty much at the same time (a christmas carol's performances start middle of dec!., my school's performances are at the end of october/beg!. of november- not sure yet), have a job, and have time for school

ill have more details on my schools performance tomorrow, but i really want advice on this soon

Well, my boyfriend did this same thing!. Oh yeah, he came out well, but it was really hard learning both his lines/songs, because in one show, you will be saying something that relates to your other show and you probably will be saying one part of the line then the next part is a line from another show!. (which wouldn't work out, since the show we were performing was a kids show, and the other show he was performing was Lord of the Flies!.) If you think you're up to the challenge of this, you can certainly do this!. But, I really don't think it's professional!. Sure it may seem like it, but when you have to do something like that and you forget your lines, it's not professional at all!. Choose the one you want to play in!. Good luck!

Don't do both at the same time!. Stick with the part you have now!. Be committed to it!. Then, in the future, you will be thought of as dependable!. There are other plays, other parts!.

And congratulations on your role!
