Question: What does it mean if someone says "you're very engaging"!?
I was in theatre and I had to perform a monologue!. Along with some tips that will make it better, she said I was very engaging!. That's a good thing, right!? Lol!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Absolutely, that's a great compliment!.

To be engaged means to be captivated by something!. To be engaging means to be captivating people!.

The ability to captivate an audience is half skill and half talent - remember last time you saw a show and there were a few of the cast who you watched and enjoyed more than the rest!? Those were engaging!.
