A REAL agent doesnt cost anything upfront!. when u get an agent they get like 10 to 15 percent of how much money u make!. if u havnt made any money yet they dont get anything!. they might ask u to get professional headshots but that money goes to the photogragher and the price depends on him!. NEVER sign with an agent who asks u for money!.

also dont mix up an agent with a school!. they do charge for tuition but they are not ur agent!.

If it's a real agent, then you don't pay him anything!. He only gets 10 - 15% of what you earn through acting!. If the agent asks for an up front payment, then he's fake!. Make sure you find a good agent who only takes the ten percent of your income in acting!

If you have a good agent, you should not be paying him/her anything!.

A reputable agent will take his % of your fees, so it's in his/her interest to get you cast!. That's why there is a lot of competition for agents in NY!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
