Question: How do I tell if a talent agent is a scam!?
This talent agency charges a sign up fee, does that automatically mean it's not legitimate!? I try to ask more specifics but they usually just give me a general answer, and ask me to book an appointment!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Don't EVER pay anything up front!.
The ONLY time you should be paying them is
when you get a job, you pay a certain %!.

Chances are that if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is!. Do it if you got the funds and find out for yourself!. Remember that there are millions of people trying to get there foot in the door in show business and I'm sure that they didnt start out with this talent agent thing!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

They may be a legit agency but you'll regret working with them!. If you really want to be an actress go to the University of Delaware and then find an Equity actors union rep!. If you can jump those hurdles, start looking for an agent!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yeah, no talent agent should ever ask you to pay for anything!. They're choosing YOU to work for THEM!. You will have to pay them some of your wages if you get work though!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

don't pay for anything!. EVER! if they ask you for money to 'sign up' or for an 'entry fee', its a scam, and just don't pay mind to it!. they just want yer money!.
